Jazz Combos finish 2022 with 24 Community Performances
Last Thursday was the last Mountlake Terrace High School jazz combo gig for the year. We finished 2022 with a private performance for residents at the Mountlake Terrace Plaza – Senior Center. It’s been a terrific year since the impacts to our program in 2020 and 2021.
Since April (when we started shows in the community) our jazz combos performed 24 times at various community and private events. We raised $4,350 and provided opportunities for 17 musicians to perform in 34 hours of jazz combo gigs!

Jazz Combo at Baguus Little Asia on Saturday, December 17th
Enjoy an evening of jazz and delicious food with the Mountlake Terrace Jazz Combo performing at Baguus Little Asia. Nestled in the heart of Mountlake Terrace, Baguus Little Asia offers a diverse selection of Asian fusion food that will keep you coming back for more. Our jazz combo will perform a 2-hour set with a mix of standards and contemporary jazz. The perfect combination of good food, great beverages, and fantastic jazz makes for a great evening! Stop in for a few minutes or the entire set. Arrive early for a good seat!

Concert Bands Winter Concert this Thursday, December 15th
Join us this Thursday, December 15, for our Winter Band Concert. Symphonic Band, Chamber Winds, and Percussion Ensemble will perform holiday selections. The concert starts at 7pm in the Mountlake Terrace High School Auditorium.

2022 Breakfast in Santa’s Workshop
The community is invited to our annual Breakfast in Santa’s Workshop! The family event is great for all ages with a pancake breakfast, kids activities, Santa pictures, and holiday gift shop. Music from our high school, middle school and elementary bands and choirs will keep your spirits bright throughout the morning.
